Homescan UK Ltd was set up in late 2004 to be operational in February 2005. The company was started by a local radiologist appointed as a consultant to the NHS in 1990 and who has an extensive knowledge of the medical market, both NHS and private. He underwent medical training at King’s College Hospital, London (qualifying in 1981) and trained in radiology in Oxford.

His Personal Assistant has worked for several years with ultrasound patients in the private sector and is experienced in helping patients sensitively as well as liaising with health insurance companies.
